I'm Ukesh Thapa, a passionate researcher, educator, and developer based in Bagdol, Lalitpur, Nepal. My journey in computer engineering began at Advanced College of Engineering and Management, Tribhuvan University, where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering in 2022.
I am currently a Instructor and Research Assistant at the AI Research Center, Advanced College of Engineering and Management, where I teach and mentor undergraduate students, guiding them in senior thesis projects. My work also involves advancing interdisciplinary research in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) to solve real-world challenges.
Currently, my main research interests are:
Reinforcement Learning and Causal Inference, enabling robust decision-making and understanding cause-effect relationships.
Explainable AI (XAI) in medical imaging, striving for transparent, interpretable, and impactful AI solutions.
Large Language Models (LLMs) in Cybersecurity, harnessing AI to detect threats and bolster security systems.
